Inspiration is not the exclusive privilege of poets or artists. There is, there has been, there will always be a certain group of people whom inspiration visits. It’s made up of all those who’ve consciously chosen their calling and do their job with love and imagination.
Difficulties and setbacks never quell their curiosity. A swarm of new questions emerges from every problem that they solve. Whatever inspiration is, it’s born from a continuous ‘I don’t know.’

Excellent quote! It makes me think I should start collecting quotations about inspiration.
Oh, Liz. I have a small basket of handwritten quotes beside my computer. They are paper clipped in a category, sort of. Einstein, reading, art, music, education…etc. The note papers are all different and it looks a bit disorganized, but I like thumbing through to find a quote and getting sidetracked by others. That in itself is inspiring.

The pandemic has gotten in the way recently, but one benefit of retirement has been signing up for OLLI classes. (Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes)
