A holiday Open House tonight, hosted by my fellow teacher.
In walked one of my favorite students, along with her parents.
And the world stopped.
All the people seemed to disappear so we could play.
And we did.
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you as well. Wishing you and the students much fun in 2019.
Thanks so much, Darlene. π
You always make my heart smile. I am posting one tonight about my special needs children and art. You can see a photo of them on my blog. Wishing you the best always and looks like my wish came true. Anne always
Iβm so glad, Anne. All hearts need more smiling, donβt they? I look forward to reading your post.
I’m having a little difficulty with WordPress, but I am sure I will get it worked out. Hugs, Anne
Just found it. Wonderful! You will enjoy the quilting adventure Iβm embarking on with the children. π
Jennie, Once again, this is wonderful!
Thank you, Charles! When she came into the room, it was as if we had both found a long, lost friend. π
Jennie, You are very welcome.
This just warms my heart too. Happy New Year, Jennie.
Iβm so glad, Marlene. Warm hearts are a good thing. π Happy New Year to you.
Sounds like a lovely time, Jennie.
It was! Thank you, Robbie. π
How touching π
Thank you, Ritu!
Seems like the perfect party guest arrived! π
Best wishes, Pete.
I think so, too. π Best to you, Pete.
Happy New Year Jennie – fill it with love!
Thank you, Opher. Happy New Year to you!
Happy New Year Jennie. Wishing you a joyous year ahead. π
Thank you! And a Happy New Year. π
Happy New Year, Jennie!
And to you, Dan. Thank you!
GP, thank you. And, I have to ask, how do you insert those wonderful photos into your comments?
I act as though I’m going to put them in a post I’m editing, but only highlight and ‘copy’ the url assigned to it. When I get to someone’s post that I want to leave the image in the comments – then I ‘paste’ it.

ENJOY!!
Thanks, GP… even though this is light years beyond me. π
I thought so at first, but any way you can get the URL for the picture, just right click and copy, then paste where you want it.
π
Happy New Year, Jennie. The kids will be all settled down in January and it will be a satisfying teaching time for you, I’m sure.
Thank you, Anneli! Happy New Year to you. π
Fabulous Jennie… Thank YOU for all the JOY you have brought me with your wonderful endearing posts that have inspired my heart… Knowing there are such beautiful souls whose mission is to teach our young generation the love of their imagination..
Happy NEW YEAR Jennie.. Much love for 2019 and beyond.. β€ β€ β€
Thank you for your kind words, Sue. Joy and inspiration are my two favorite words, my mantra, because if I can bring that to children in my classroom and to readers on my blog, I have done a good thing. BUT, first of all and most importantly, I need to feel joy and inspiration to pass that along. And I get that directly from the children. That is the spark for imagination!!! Win-win, full circle. Pretty wonderful. π
You are one amazing lady Jennie… Enjoy your New Year and new Term at school my friend.. What a JOY you are to your young children.. β€
Awww… thatβs so nice. Thank you, Sue. Happy New Year!
How wonderful! Happy new year!
Thank you, Norah! And to you as well. π
