Be Kind. It’s Worth It!

Hello Everyone,

My questions for you today are:

  1. How do we show kindness?
  2. Why do we have to be kind?
  3. What do we get for being kind?

This amazing video that I will share with you has the perfect answers for these questions. I hope that you will enjoy! 🙂

About Jennie

I have been teaching preschool for over thirty years. This is my passion. I believe that children have a voice, and that is the catalyst to enhance or even change the learning experience. Emergent curriculum opens young minds. It's the little things that happen in the classroom that are most important and exciting. That's what I write about. I am highlighted in the the new edition of Jim Trelease's bestselling book, "The Read-Aloud Handbook" because of my reading to children. My class has designed quilts that hang as permanent displays at both the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, and the Fisher House at the Boston VA Hospital.

  1. When I was a kid we had to go to my mom and dad every day and ask if there was anything we could do for them, so little but so big!

  2. I’ve seen this video several times and each time it moves me to tears. It’s the butterfly affect. We may never know how our kindness affect the world but we can be assured that they do. Every little thing makes a difference. My greatest joy in life has been that my grown children are remarkably kind. It’s what I value most in a person. Thanks for sharing it again.

Just beautiful. It reinforces my own practice of showing kindness. I will try my hardest to remember these lessons every day. Thank you and goodnight.

Your featuring such a warm and fuzzy reminder of the “power” of kindness really touched me. Thanks for re-blogging this, Jennie. ❤
