The sky went on forever,
looking just like the photo,
spread across my world.
It was ominous.
I couldn’t stop looking, and imagining.
I saw stories.
I saw mystery.
I saw wonder.
Thank goodness I looked up.
Look up and look down, and you will truly see.

I was a live guest on the Kelly Clarkson Show. I am highlighted in the seventh edition of Jim Trelease's million-copy bestselling book, "The Read-Aloud Handbook" because of my reading to children. My class has designed quilts that hang as permanent displays at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, the Fisher House at the Boston VA Hospital, and the Massachusetts State House in Boston.

The cosmic conscious being that is your spiritual self, is far more magnificent than anything this physical realm can produce, and this conscious awareness that you experience will infinitely continue regardless of the form it inhabits.

I love this, Jennie! You and I have the same philosophy about life. BTW, I just established my LLC for the farm and it is called “Rooted in Wonder LLC.” The name came to me about a year ago, in the middle of the night, and now I am building the physical place for others to experience wonder in their own ways. 💚

Lovely! We live in what’s known as ‘The Land of Skies’ because there are no hills. We see some wonderful skies, sunsets and sunrises.
How wonderful for you! When we moved into this house, it was ‘the big sky’ for us, and we enjoy it. When something remarkable appears, we feel very lucky.
Yes, we often see shooting stars and satellites in orbit in our night sky.

Looking up at an unending sky truly is a moment of wonder. I especially enjoy when you are in a spot where you can see a horizon, like the sea or a mountaintop and the sky feels like a huge dome.
