When I saw the title in the notification, my heart skipped a beat! Luckily, he is alive and well, enjoying the book. Phew… 😊
Best wishes, Pete.
Oh dear! Yes, big phew! 🙂
It was a bit of a heart stopper !
Oh Jennie, this is so nice of you. You’ve warmed my heart, made my day/week/weekend. I’m so happy to see him enjoying the book. It looks like you’ll get him back pretty soon. Thanks again.
I’m so very glad, Dan! Many thanks!!
😁💜😁
I love this photo!! It’s great to find him stuck in a good book.
Yes, it is! Thanks, Darlene.
💜💜💜
It’s such a good feeling, Darlene.
So wonderful!
Thank you.
Welcome
💜💜💜
Hi Jennie so sorry that Dan and I have stolen Hubby…. But it’s only temporary 😁.
I love that you have taken that lovely photo I have added it to our collage!
Thank you for sharing you have cheered me up on an extremely stressful day and made my year ! Bless you 🤩🤩🤩💜💜
Hi Willow! That’s so nice. I’m so glad you liked the photo. I knew it would bring big smiles to you and Dan. Hubby is a picky reader, devouring your book like he does Clive Cussler books, so that makes it even better. Thanks for adding the photo to your collage. 😍
That makes me feel even better, Jennie!
😍
yes indeed what a bonus 💜💜💜
😍
the best endorsement you could give it!
A picture says a thousand words. 🙂
That’s so true, Beth!
Amen to that Beth 😊
Summer for teachers – great time to get caught up on reading! Glad to see your hubby loves it too. I like a good mystery – very cool that you know the authors and they are commenting here! I’ll have a peek at the book, I just finished a book and hadn’t decided what to read next.
Thanks, Karma. This one is really good!
Thanks Karma. If you do choose this one, I hope you enjoy it.
ayes Karma we would be so honoured if you do choose bit 💜
Oh! Two typos in one comment ! I actually meant to say …” Yes Karma we’d be so honoured if you did read it ” 💜💜
Love it! 🥰
😍
Its a lovely photo 😁😁😀
Yes, indeed, it’s wonderful!

talk about a cliffhanger blog post title – whew,! glad hubby has just gone off the edge via full immersion in a new book.
It was a cliffhanger title. I hope you weren’t worried, Laura. He’s in happy immersion.
🙂
I’m glad he’s enjoying the book, but we can’t be losing him.
Looks like a good recommendation for Charlie. Thanks.
I think he will love it!
Thanks Elizabeth If he gets the chance, I hope he enjoys it.
And he is immersed in that book! Great promo!!
He definitely is! Thanks, Pam.
It warms my heart to see that.
A good way to lose him for sure.
Yes! For sure. 🙂
The best way, John.
😀
Ha! Good one.
Definitely!
A little scary, but…
Terrific.

it’s good when you get ‘lost in a book; I’m a keen reader of picture story books, sleek novels, ‘The New Yorker’ ; I’m subscribing: your blog seems positive — I too was a teacher for over thirty years 🙂
Wonderful! What grade? And yes, it’s good to get lost in a book. Many thanks.
I taught High School: year 8 to year 12: English, mainly and some Social Studies —
Did you read aloud to your students?
Yes, I read passages from novels we studied — and poetry, of course —
I’m so glad. 😀
You won’t regret following Jennie!
what a fun post – books are great ways to get lost!
Yes!
It was!
You’ll get him back in a few 100 pages.
Haha!
I’m glad to see that’s where he’s lost.
If I hadn’t just read the note you sent me, your title would have scared me (at least for a second) until I scrolled down and saw Steve immersed in the story.
I made it home today after a long drive. 111 degrees in Weaverville, one of the towns I passed through today. Whew, that’s hot! Good old Humboldt County is in the low 60s. I’ll write you back in the next few days.
Sorry for the scare! Glad you’re back home and in cooler weather. Skip reading the ms – I have a few more edits and I’ll send you s revised link.
Whew, Jennie! I’m glad you lost him….in a book! Lots of hugs and love, my friend. I’ve missed you! ❣️🥰💚
Big whew! Much love and many hugs to you, Karla. 😍
Love and many hugs back to you, dear Jennie!! 🥰❣️🥰
