I will share this Christmas ad every year, because… it’s that good.
Christmas is about family and friends.
It’s a time to smile and remember.
Yes, remember.
Because in the end, it’s our memories that stick with us.
That’s what we have.

Dance, smile, hug your kids, look at the sky.

I have been teaching preschool for over forty years. This is my passion. I believe that children have a voice, and that is the catalyst to enhance or even change the learning experience. Emergent curriculum opens young minds. It's the little things that happen in the classroom that are most important and exciting. That's what I write about.
I was a live guest on the Kelly Clarkson Show. I am highlighted in the seventh edition of Jim Trelease's million-copy bestselling book, "The Read-Aloud Handbook" because of my reading to children. My class has designed quilts that hang as permanent displays at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, the Fisher House at the Boston VA Hospital, and the Massachusetts State House in Boston.

So sweet! I love it. I hope you had a wonderful holiday with your family. I was “lucky” enough to get hit with Covid again. We went on a field trip to see A Christmas Carol at the Hanover Theater in Worcester on the Thursday before break and I came home feeling dog-tired. Decided to test to be safe, and wouldn’t you know it! It was a mild bout and I’m mostly recovered now. I did see my family on Christmas, but I said maybe it is better with no hugs this time around, just in case!
