My favorite intersection for sunsets,
appropriately named Sunset Farm.
Today a storm was brewing.
The view was as beautiful as a sunset.
The surprise was a rare hailstorm.

I love the EB White quote. Wonder is everywhere!
Hear, hear!
must have been windy up above to get hail Jennie. A friend near Boston said they got hail as well!
It was wild and beautiful!
I was walking Ollie during a sudden hailstorm this week. It was stinging my face, and settling on his back. 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Oh, my! Best to you, Pete.
We did have some strange weather this weekend. I hope you’re having a nice day today.
Yes, we did. Family is here from PA, which is wonderful.
🙂
Stunning, but eerie too!
Yes! Ritu, on a side note, any word if my class can send cards to your class?
Oh, I totaally forgot to ask my head! So sorry, this is covid fog for you! I will email her tomorrow!
Thanks so much, Ritu! 💕
That first photograph is stunning! I love a good storm from inside a building.
I’m with you on appreciating a good storm from inside a building.
I do, too!!
Great photos! I love a good storm.
Me, too!
Great photos, Jennie. We are all too familiar with hail storms here in Texas. Have a great week.
Beautiful to watch, but not to be in for sure! Best to you, John.
Very true. 😁
That’s a spectacular cloudscape!
It was a sight to see!
🙂
Love E.B White. 💙
Me, too!
🙂
wow, all this wonderful, beautiful, weather! perfect quote and I know you live this way
Yes, I do. Thanks, Beth!
Beautiful photo and perfect quote. Have a great week.
Thank you, Steve. Best to you!
I just Zoomed with my brothers today, and my New Jersey brother said they just had a doozie of a storm too. We seldom get the lightning and thunderstorms I remember so vividly from my childhood in the Dakotas.
It was beautiful to watch. I’m not surprised your brother got the storm. I’ll bet thunderstorms are far more intense (and scary) in the Dakotas.
Ominous yet breathtaking photo! Thanks for sharing & I love that E.B. White quote! 🙂
Glad you liked it, Jen! 😀
Ah, spring and all it’s wonders. Lovely.
Yes!! Thank you, Marlene.
Nature is full of surprises. It’s wonder-ful!
Well said! 🙂

I love the EB White quote! I love the photos, Jennie. We experienced storms last night and are forecasted all week (but one day only). Spring is here! And the weather is up and down for sure. Take care and have a blessed week with the kids! ❤️
It is one of my favorite quotes! Hooray for spring. The up and down weather makes the season exciting. Best to you, Karla.
Thank you, Jennie! Yes, excitement indeed! Blessings to you dear, Jennie!
😀
Ooh ominous!
Yes!!
Wonderful images, Jennie…I love a good storm we get some humdingers here no hailstones so far though 🙂
Thank you, Carol!
Nice
Thank you.
I love photos like that with dark storms in the background, Jennie. We just got a foot of snow last night (in Oregon). So strange. I’m enjoying the wonder. 🙂
I do, too. Our daughter in Bend sent us a picture of the snowstorm. Very strange in April.
They got socked in the Cascades. We just got power back on. Strange weather.
Wow! Those who live in the east have no idea how mighty the Cascades are. My first visit to the mountains made me feel like a small child. Yes, strange.
🙂
Missed us entirely for a change. Today was certainly glorious though.
Yes, it was.
HI Jennie, a lovely post all round. We often get hail and, while I love the sound on our metal roof, it destroys the garden.
Thank you, Robbie. I didn’t realize you got hail in South Africa. I can imagine the damage to the garden.
🙂 Weather always changing and always full of surprises.. Lol.. 🙂 great photos Jennie
Spring can have crazy weather rolling in. It’s beautiful to watch. Thank you, Sue.
