I have been teaching preschool for over thirty-five years. This is my passion. I believe that children have a voice, and that is the catalyst to enhance or even change the learning experience. Emergent curriculum opens young minds. It's the little things that happen in the classroom that are most important and exciting. That's what I write about.
I was a live guest on the Kelly Clarkson Show. I am highlighted in the seventh edition of Jim Trelease's million-copy bestselling book, "The Read-Aloud Handbook" because of my reading to children. My class has designed quilts that hang as permanent displays at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, the Fisher House at the Boston VA Hospital, and the Massachusetts State House in Boston.
Thanks for sharing. It is an awesome commercial and will cause leaky eyes. I wish I could remember where I first saw it, most likely on someone else’s blog. But it is on YouTube.
Don, I had not seen this commercial until Darlene sent me the link in a comment. Choked up is an understatement. Then Hubby came home from errands. He’s an old car buff, and a softy. We watched it together. Oh, my!
Hmm. I saw a condensed version (I’m guessing one minute) of this today when I was watching football. As I watched it, I remember thinking, “What a great commercial. Somebody will blog about this one for sure.”🤣🤣🤣 I just didn’t expect it to be this soon.

I clicked on your link and it was from YouTube. What a great commercial! So happy to share it!!
wonderful…
Oh yes! Sigh… 🥰
Yes, I cried.
Me, too. And then I showed the commercial to Hubby who is an old car fan and a softy. We cried. 🥰
My hubby is a softy, too. 🙂
Wonderful!
🙂
Every time it comes on, I stop what I am doing and watch it. Even in it’s shorter version. And every time I choke up. Such a show of family love.

Me, too!!
Yes, this one is a waterwork burster.
It is, especially for old car lovers (that would be you and also my husband). The waterworks flowed.
So true. 🥲
Yes!
On a side note, that NCIS episode I missed that you told me about is on TV now. Signing off.
This one got me!
Me, too!!
😭😭Never seen this one before! Thanks for sharing
This was a first for me, too. So wonderful!
Wow! Not sure it would have sold me a Chevrolet, but it was a beautiful little film – thank you!
I felt exactly the same way!
It’s a two-hankie for sure.
Definitely!!

I saw the condensed one watching football too, but that was after I posted the long one. Both are great. I miss the Budweiser commercials.
Well crud. I thought I was tough enough to handle this without tissue. My tee shirt had to do. Love it. Thanks Jennie and Darlene.
Me too, Marlene. I know exactly what you mean!!
That’s a teary video!

It is, GP! Glad you enjoyed it, too.
That’s wonderful!! I’m glad I had tissue ready!!!
Thanks, Deborah! This is one I’ll watch over and over again.

I know this is supposed to be a feel good commercial, but I’m balling my eyes out here. Thanks for sharing, I needed a good cry.
