I was a live guest on the Kelly Clarkson Show. I am highlighted in the seventh edition of Jim Trelease's million-copy bestselling book, "The Read-Aloud Handbook" because of my reading to children. My class has designed quilts that hang as permanent displays at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, the Fisher House at the Boston VA Hospital, and the Massachusetts State House in Boston.

Thanks, Pete. We call it our vacation home. The fish floating in the air- one is a windsock, and two are suspended by wires in a small pole. Julia let me stroke her back with my finger.

It’s all in the moments isn’t it? On a different note are you being overrun with rabbits? We seem to be as do all of our friends.
Yes!! We are totally overrun, and they’re eating our flowers- even marigolds which are supposed to repel rabbits from planted veggies. They must all have the same name- Peter.
A friend mentioned the same with her marigolds. What is going on anyway?
I wish I knew! As soon as I replant, many are eaten by the next day.
Well the squirrels just ate the sunflower plants. The rabbits had left them alone.
Oh, no!! Last year we had a groundhog under the house, and I put mothballs there to get rid of it. So last week I decided to put mothballs around the targeted flowers. Seems to be helping.
That is interesting. I had just heard that someone did that to foxes, much to their neighbors sorrow since they liked seeing the little ones born.
It’s a hard choice. If that disrupt your house or garden, then repel them.
Over the years, I’ve learned never to take the little moments for granted.
They’re often the most important. I am far better at this than I was in my younger years.
