Mother Nature is giving us a delightful and playful calm
before tomorrow’s storm.
Wispy clouds are dancing, like children.

About Jennie
I have been teaching preschool for over thirty years. This is my passion. I believe that children have a voice, and that is the catalyst to enhance or even change the learning experience. Emergent curriculum opens young minds. It's the little things that happen in the classroom that are most important and exciting. That's what I write about.
I am highlighted in the the new edition of Jim Trelease's bestselling book, "The Read-Aloud Handbook" because of my reading to children. My class has designed quilts that hang as permanent displays at both the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, and the Fisher House at the Boston VA Hospital.
A lovely show
😀
Beautiful sky!
Yes! 🙂
So pretty!
I was a beauty! 🙂
This is a great poem, Jennie. Such a pretty picture it creates in my mind.
Thank you, Robbie. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Knowing the tropical storm that is headed our way, I couldn’t help but smile at what the sky was doing ahead of the storm.
Stay safe, Jennie!
I love cloud watching ☁️
We’re not in the direct path. We’ll get heavy rain and wind today. Cloud watching is a joy! 🙂
😊
That is a perfect sky… almost dreamlike quality…
I felt the same way when I saw it. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing!
Nice Jennie. You put it in words.
Thank you, Opher!
Those clouds are teasing you. I hope you avoid the worst of the storm.
Best wishes, Pete.
That’s exactly what they’re doing. It’s like giving your dog a treat before going to the vet. Still, it was a beauty. We’re slightly to the right of the storm, so we’ll get plenty of rain and wind. The yard will be thankful for the watering. Best to you, Pete.
Yesterday was a beautiful day.
It really was! The yard is welcoming the rain today, and I am welcoming the temperatures.
Your photo perfectly captures the beauty of wispy clouds. We’re forecast to get strong winds and some rain late this afternoon.
Thank you, Liz. I thought of you last weekend as we drove through the back roads of Vermont with the top down. Delightful! Will post soon.
You’re welcome, Jennie. How lovely of you to think of me in Vermont!
How could I not? 🙂
🙂
Storm’s a-coming. Stay safe, Jennie
It will be rainy and very windy later today. The grass will be thrilled for the rain. Fortunately we’re not directly in the pathway.
We need rain too but just can’t get any
Beautiful poem, Jennie.
Thank you, Kamal!
Welcome Jennie.
Lovely… Stay safe and well, Jennie!
Thank you, Bette. Will do! 😍
❤ xo
There’s a wonderful, and whimsical thought to go with those clouds!
That’s exactly what I was thinking. I’m glad you enjoyed it, Deborah.🙂
There certainly were some exquisite clouds before that storm blew in and through.
Yes, indeed. I think they were teasing us as what was to come.
They fooled me. I basked in their beauty right up until the tornado alert!
I think so, too. Then I went to the porch to watch the whole thing. Not the wisest move, but it was thrilling.
A couple of times I have had to yell at my mesmerized husband to get in the house before the lightning gets any closer.
That would be me, too!
Great foto! Like a painting. Honestly playing children sounding a little bit more. 😉 Best wishes, Michael
Glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic taken, Jennie! Thank you! Enjoy your day. Michael
