Peace

About Jennie

I have been teaching preschool for over thirty-five years. This is my passion. I believe that children have a voice, and that is the catalyst to enhance or even change the learning experience. Emergent curriculum opens young minds. It's the little things that happen in the classroom that are most important and exciting. That's what I write about. I was a live guest on the Kelly Clarkson Show. I am highlighted in the seventh edition of Jim Trelease's million-copy bestselling book, "The Read-Aloud Handbook" because of my reading to children. My class has designed quilts that hang as permanent displays at the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia, the Fisher House at the Boston VA Hospital, and the Massachusetts State House in Boston.

Wise words indeed. Far too many fall into that trap of thinking that happiness or peace can be found in ‘things’.

  5. Great quote Jenny. I am seeking more and more of it within of late. Love and peace returned to you πŸ’œπŸ˜˜

Regarding your entry “peace comes from within ” . . It does all begin within but lots of people don’t get it or understand the how of it. Our world is busy, complicated, confusing, and spinning too quickly for most people . For myself, true peace, and lasting peace comes from the words in the Holy Bible. For everyone it is different, some find peace in nature, and others find peace in reading or in doing something outdoors. But the bottom line, for me, is that the beginnings of peace come directly from the King of Peace. artfromperry
