Thank you Bridget for this wonderful George Bernard Shaw quote!
If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.

GBS is so quoteable!
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, he is. I just fell in love with this one. Best to you, Pete.
Love it! It is so perfect!!
I couldn’t agree more! π
This is a lovely quote and so true, all we have to do is listen. Children learn so much from each other and I learn so much from them too! Thank you for sharing π
You are welcome!
I love this and I have always believed in sharing and caring, especially this way. Also, I love apple pie and your apple pie looks delicious! In Connecticut, where I grew up in a farming community, we had an apple tree in our front yard and there were a several apple orchards in our community! It was wonderful and as kids, we never went hungry, our snacks were always apples! Karen π
Thank you so much, Karen. Stories of apples are always the best. I wish I could say it was my apple pie, bot no. It was Bridget’s, who posted the marvelous quote. I still haven’t gotten over that… it will stick with me forever.
Your welcome and my pleasure. I brought back memories for me. This quote should be part of our constitution, my opinion anyway. Karen
Absolutely! π
Awesome quote, Jennie and Bridget. I love that. π I want a piece of that pie too.
π
And then we get to eat pie?!
Sounds good to me. Once we have exchanged ideas so that we both have two, we go for the pie!
Great quote, Jennie. Thanks.
You’re welcome, Norah. Glad you liked it.
