The one thing that gets missed out in praising education is that education in itself doesnt always lead anywhere. People can pass a test, or get a degree, but that doesnt always prove they have learnt anything, just that they are proficient at tests within a narrow range of subjects.
I feel education should be far more expansive and more emphasis on putting it into practice.
I agree, as do an enormous number of educators. Learning should be exciting and the proof of learning can come without tests. Teachers are in your corner!
